Many work places utilize chemicals. Other than common household cleaners, most chemicals that are purchased for use in the workplace are accompanied by a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) which discloses information about the chemical including product identification, hazardous components, physical properties, fire and explosion data, reactivity data, health hazard and toxicity data, personal protection information, spill and disposal procedures, regulatory information and special precautions. A MSDS is often hard to understand if you are not familiar with how to interpret the information.
